Capitalizing on my interest in anime and manga and using it to create these graphic squares was not my bingo list back then, but it happened.
This project was a photoshoot for Charcoal’s
sock collection.
We all have those few projects that click and suddenly open our eyes to the fun we could have when making something that truly resonates with us.
To me, this project was that. A simple assignment handed out at university turned into much more.
Socks are usually overlooked, right? Here, the goal was the opposite: to place them at the center of attention, styled and shot like fashion pieces in their own right. The photoshoot balanced playfulness with precision, aligning with Charcoal’s philosophy of product couture, where engineering and artistry come together seamlessly.
